Guest expert, Jessica Woodburn, will teach this 2-hour workshop. Jessica, has over 15 years of teaching experience and is a passionate environmentalist and trash artist.

Stressed? Want to stab something? Try needle felting! Come take out your aggression & decorate some dryer balls with needle felting.
Learn the basics of needle felting by decorating your own wool dryer balls. Wool is an incredible fiber and simply adding 2 felted balls to your dryer loads provides an eco-friendly way to soften your fabrics and reduce static and drying time.

This two week course is a crash course in repairing your clothes. Learn the basics so you can get started in repairing woven and knit garments.

Learn both decorative and practical techniques for repairing your clothes

Each student will create a mending sampler to practice repair techniques
This is a beginner friendly workshop

Saturday, March 14, 4:00 - 5:30 PM | Darning Loom Workshop | The Dropped Stitch, 1524 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Chicago 60660 | TICKETS

In this workshop, students will learn how to darn a patch using a Speedweve-type darning loom. Learn how to use your darning loom instead of it collecting dust in your crafting pile. Sweater samples will be available to practice, or bring a sweater or sock with 1" hole or smaller to repair.
