- A time and place to work on your fiber craft projects
- Come with your mending pile and questions
- Meet at 1210 W Granville Ave at BLISS JOY BULL's Brick & Mortar shop
- Stay for 3 hours or pop in for as long as you can
- Chat and share clothes-mending ideas + fiber arts
- Meet other sewers/ menders/ fiber artists
- Informal/non-teaching workshop, but feel free to ask any repair questions
- All fiber crafts welcome!
Tickets are limited! This will be a group of up to 10 people plus the shop owner, Nandi.
Date & Time: Monday, August 18, 6:00-9:00 PM
We will have the following to borrow:
- thread snips
- fabric shears
- limited thread
- pins and needles
- seam rippers
- lots of fabric scraps
- a sewing machine will be available but feel free to bring your own
We also have an assortment of sewing supplies to purchase such as:
- sewing machine needles
- hand sewing needles
- thread snips
- fabric shears
- sashiko thread
- and more!
What to bring:
- a project to work on or share with the group
- sewing supplies to work on your project
- snacks or drinks
Location: 1210 W Granville Ave, West Storefront. We're located a block west of the Granville red line station and the Broadway 36 bus.
Accessibility & Parking: There are two steps down to get into the space. Our restroom is not ADA compliant. There is paid parking on Broadway and Granville Ave. I generally can find parking further west on Granville that's free. Note: there's permit parking perpendicular and north of Granville Ave.
We'll have coffee, tea, and snacks. Feel free to BYOB.
Workshop Policies: Please review policies below before committing to a workshop.
- If BLISS JOY BULL needs to cancel a workshop, we will notify you 24 hours before the class and give you the option of refund or reschedule.
- If you're unable to attend the workshop, email us 48-hours before the class starts for a refund.
- We're unable to refund tickets with less than 24 hours notice.
